John Ondrasik (also known as Five for Fighting)
American Singer-Songwriter & Pianist
John Ondrasik is a platinum-selling, Grammy-nominated artist and advocate for Israel. His hits include “Superman (It's Not Easy)” and six albums including America Town and The Battle for Everything. Ondrasik has been an outspoken supporter of the Israeli hostages post-October 7. He made headlines when he revamped his “Superman,” lyrics in honor of Alon Ohel and the other hostages, released in June 2025. Ondrasik has insisted that his stance of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is not political but moral, that condemning terrorism and demanding the release of hostages is an issue of "good versus evil".
