Shosh Mitzman
Director of Partnerships & Jewish National Fund-USA’s liaison at MAKOM
As the main liaison of JNF-USA's affiliate, MAKOM, Shosh will share the impact of the work that Israel's largest national community-building organization is doing through its network of over 250 groups. These groups develop communities in the Negev and Galilee regions and create leaders, volunteers, educators, and a future generation of changemakers throughout Israel.

Yael Aharoni
Yael and her MAKOM community are working on bringing people back to the North and South.
Yael, a young leader born and raised in the Western Galilee, currently resides on a moshav in the lower Galilee. Her extensive background in educational training and guidance has enabled her to help young adult MAKOM communities and college students across Israel. In addition to serving as a reservist in the IDF for over 200 days since October 7th, Yael is currently in the process of identifying strategies and methods for training young adults who will be moving to the North and South and rebuilding communities.
